STYLE AND DIRECTION — FAQ
How long is the session?
This experience includes a Zoom consultation before the shoot, followed by an in-person session lasting 60 to 90 minutes. It’s designed to be intentional, immersive, and results-driven — part shoot, part real conversation.
What happens during the Zoom call?
You'll have a 30 to 45-minute Zoom session with a creative producer from Lower E Side, a NYC-based fashion production house. This call focuses on portfolio feedback and creative direction — identifying what you need, what fits your goals, and how to shape the shoot to serve your next move.
Do I need to plan my look in advance?
No. Your look will be discussed and defined during the Zoom call. Tobi will provide curated moodboards and styling input so you come in aligned with the concept. It’s not about dressing trendy — it’s about showing up as your best visual self.
How many images do I get?
You’ll receive a contact sheet with multiple photos from the session. A curated selection will be color-balanced and cleaned up — no heavy retouching, just sharp, natural images that are ready to be used in industry-standard submissions.
What kind of photos are these?
This is a street-style session with an editorial mindset. The final look is clean, expressive, and honest. It's about presence, not perfection.
Can it be done in a studio?
Yes, it can be arranged depending on your needs. However, this session is built on authenticity. Outdoor setups or natural environments are often more reflective of the season, your mood, and your energy. If studio is preferred, our team can discuss options — but it’s not required.
Do I get help with styling?
Yes. Tobi creates personalized moodboards to guide outfit choices and overall vibe, tailored to who you are and where you're going.
Can I use these photos for agencies or castings?
Absolutely. These aren’t "content shots" — they're editorial-level images created with direction, clarity, and intention. Built to stand out and elevate your portfolio.
Is this only for beginners?
No. Whether you're just starting out or refining your path, this session is about evolution. It’s for anyone who wants to grow with clarity and edge.
What if I want to build a full portfolio from scratch?
If you're looking to create a complete portfolio with multiple looks, styles, and moods — this session isn’t meant for that.

Is there anything else I should do after this session?
If you’re ready to start reaching out to agencies, we recommend booking a proper set of digitals. These are clean, natural images that agencies require when evaluating new faces.
Tobi always carries a curated folder of fresh faces and digital portfolios when visiting agencies. If your look and timing align, your images may be included.
